How do I get paid through Hyperwallet? ›

In virtual accounts, payees can choose how they want to withdraw money from Hyperwallet. These options include prepaid cards, Venmo transfers, PayPal transfers, checks, cash pickup, or donations.

Your Hyperwallet account is usually created one to two weeks after you submit your first invoice, as it takes some time to complete the regulatory requirements. You will be sent your credentials via email once they've been created and before payment is made.

Hyperwallet bank transfer

Please allow 1-3 business days for the funds to be credited to a bank account in North America or Europe, or up to 5 business days for other destinations.

Hyperwallet doesn't publicly list its fees for making payments or its international exchange rate, but there is an account fee of $3 USD/month if you don't withdraw funds within 90 days of receiving them.

Hyperwallet is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 certified, we comply with stringent requirements for data protection.

For proof of address documents

If everything is in order, Hyperwallet will verify the submitted documents within 2 business days, but in most cases the process is completed in just a few minutes. If more information is required for verification, you will receive an email from Hyperwallet asking for further details.

To add a bank account for a user, send a POST request to the /users/{user-token}/bank-accounts endpoint and include the direct deposit or wire transfer details in JSON format in the request body.
